Meet our lovely staff... 

One of the owners who works mainly at the Ashford Branch. Max is a well recognised face who has been looking after animals at Sherwood Vets since he graduated in 1997!

Gianmarco qualified as a vet in 2020. He has recently joined our team after being in a practice in Wales! He enjoys surgery and is very welcoming to all your pets, taking extra time to ensure they have had a bit of fuss! In his free time, he enjoys travelling to his home country, Italy.

Head nurse & Clinical Coach at Sherwood Vets. Christie has been nursing patients at the surgery for over 20 years & training our future RVNs. She loves cats, having 4 of her own, she has a keen interest in feline behaviour & is our cat advocate for the ISFM cat friendly clinic scheme.

Amy started with us a student nurse, but in July 2026 Amy passed her exams to become a qualified nurse. She is very dedicated providing your pets with a lot of care, comfort and love during their stay with us.

Carys joined our reception team in May 2024. Where she was always ready to greet you with a smile and lend you a helping hand with any questions you may have. Due to her hard work, in February 2026, Carys was promoted to a student vet nurse. In her spare time, Carys enjoys spending time with her rabbit, Dumpling!

Jess started as a receptionist at our Ashford branch. She joined the team in November 2014 and was recognised on the phone and at the front desk by her caring and knowledgeable nature. Her tireless dedication to the practice, it's clients and patients means she has recently been promoted to Practice Manager.

A full time receptionist at our Ashford branch who joined us in February 2024 after leaving her job in the NHS. Sally joined the team due to her love of animals and this very much shows when she welcomes both yourself and your pet into our practice.

Adaline is part of our admin team and has been with us since 1984. Her main role is to sort out the many insurance forms we receive. She is happy to help guide and answer any queries you may have regarding your pet's insurance claims. Adaline has taken Sherwoods over the Scottish border where she now lives while continuing to work for us from home!

Co-owner of the practice with Max, David has been working mainly at the Hampton branch for more years than he cares to remember! He particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery.

Sharuka graduated in July 2025 from University of Surrey. She is a very calm and gentle natured vet, who has already won the hearts of many pets (and clients alike!)

Registered Veterinary Nurse who joined our team in 2017, she has been qualified since 2015 after training in a 24 hour hospital. Natalie is a clinical coach and assists Christie with the student training. You may see her in nurse consultations particularly weight clinics and keeping you updated on our much loved Instagram!

Full time RVN who joined the team in 2020 and has been qualified since 2018. She provides a reassuring atmosphere to our nervous patients. She feels the most rewarding part of the job is in-patient care, monitoring them closely throughout the day and sending them home happier and healthier. Lauren has a paticular soft spot for dalmations!

Daisy joined the team originally as a Receptionist in April 2022. After passing her VCA course in April 2024; she was promoted to Student Veterinary Nurse. She is a very dedicated member of the team who enjoys looking after our in-patients, helping them feel at ease while they are in our care.

A full time receptionist now at our Hampton branch who joined us in 2016, she is an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the team. Forrest is our Head receptionist and in her free time, enjoys photography. A lot of the images on this website were taken by Forrest!

Kerry is the newest member of the Sherwood team. Kerry joined us at the end of July 2026 after previously working in a doctors surgery. She will give both yourself and your pet her full attention and best care when you visit the surgery.

Zoe graduated in 2024 from Royal Veterinary College! Zoe was born and raised in China before coming to the UK in 2015. Her warm caring nature will ensure that your pets feel at ease in her care and their owners will feel reassured and looked after.

Simon is one of our veterinary surgeons who works with us a couple of days a week. He graduated in 1988.

Jennie is our bubbly RVN who has been with us since 2015. She has gone through all her nursing training with us and qualified as a nurse in 2018. Jennie runs our arthritis clinics, helping you to make the necessary changes to better your pets pain and life (Including her own dog, a pugalier).

Tegan joined us as a Hampton receptionist in 2021 where she has became a vital part of the team before moving into a Student Nurse postion in 2022. She recently qualified as an RVN. She is much loved by not only the pets but all of our clients as well.

Matilda originally joined the team in January 2023 as one of our Receptionists. In February 2024, Matilda took on a new role as Veterinary care assistant at our Hampton branch; looking after all your pets' needs during their stay with us.

Keah is a full time receptionist, who mainly works at our Ashford branch. She is enthusiastic and bubbly. She joined our team in June 2026 and has previously worked as a Receptionist in a different Vet surgery.

Many of you may have already met our Saturday receptionist Archie.He joined our team in 2024. Whilst studying bio medicine at university, he is the face of our weekends at our Ashford branch. He goes home to his own family of pets, his dogs Nova and Luna and cat Oti.
