With our level of facilities, we are a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, so the nursing staff can complement their practical work here with the invaluable background of theory.

Having the luxury of some excellent reception staff, our nurses can commit their time fully to caring for your pet at all stages of recovery to good health.

As an accredited practice, we have passed an inspection carried out by an experienced veterinary surgeon focusing on a range of areas, including hygiene, health and safety, clinical governance and the facilities we provide, to name just a few.

The practice will be reinspected every four years and we will be subject to spot-checks in the meantime, so we have to keep on our toes.

The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative – not all practices are part of it yet. RCVS accreditation means that as a client you can rest assured that our practice offers a high quality of care – in those bits of the practice you can see – and those that you can’t.

The ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation at our Ashford surgery is an internationally recognised award. It means that we have met criteria to help minimise stress to your cat in our clinic.

When you visit us, don’t be surprised if we ask you to sit in the quiet designated cat area of our waiting room. As an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic we have separate dog and cat waiting areas to help reduce your cat’s stress
